The steel face is engineered to be ultra thin at only 1.2mm. This means that 10g more weight can be redistributed around the peripheral of the head to increase the size of the sweet spot and optimise the position of the centre of gravity. This thin face also maximises ball speed by flexing on impact. To generate greater power and increase repulsion, 20 layers of high tensile carbon graphite, 4mm thick, have been moulded behind the face creating a hollow carbon graphite core. The elasticity of this hollow carbon core generates 3% more power into the ball as it releases more impact energy. This unique construction enables the club to fly the ball further than a conventional iron, the higher trajectory and softer landing allows for improved ball control.
