New for 2007, the Callaway FT-5 Tour Driver (Graphite); utilising maximum Fusion Technology in a traditional head shape.

Titanium and Carbon Composite combine to save a massive 50g of discretionary weight in the new Callaway FT-5 Driver to correct or enhance your shape of golf shot. The larger, high velocity face and OptiFit choices of Draw, Neutral, and Fade enable golfers to choose a powerful combination of accuracy and distance to get the best out of their game.

Fusion Technology
Proprietary technology creates an unprecedented 50g (6g more than the Tor Proven FT-3 Driver) of discretionary weight, which is strategically positioned for a moment on inertia (MOI, forgiveness) off the entire face, as well as a deep centre of gravity (COG), for a powerful trajectory.

OptiFit Weighting System
Enables golfers to customise their driver by giving them three performance visible weighting options in most lofts: Draw, for promoting a draw or reducing a slice/fade; Neutral, for maximum workability; and, Fade, for promoting a fade or reducing a hook/draw.

460cc Head Design
Maximum head size with a new, longer, wider, and hotter face for more confidence at address that results in higher ball speeds and longer, straighte3r drives more often.

CF/VFT Titanium Cup Face
Modified version of proprietary VFT Technology in which face thicknesses are designed specifically to maximise performance under the new USGA Characteristic Time test, resulting in a larger, more spin robust face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face.

Carbon Composite Body
The material used to make the body is significantly lighter than titanium, allowing Callaway Golf engineers to move discretionary weight to where it is needed most, resulting in better stability and distance.

Tour Loft for Tour-calibre Performance
The FT-5 Tour Drivers are designated by a half-degree lofts (9.5° and 10.5°) and have faces that are slightly open (0.5°) at address, providing highly skilled golfers with a more pleasing look at address and increased workability.
