The MD Golf Superstrong Tungsten Ti Irons are MD Golf's flagship iron for 2006. For the first time genuine titanium faced irons are available at an affordable price.

The MD Golf Superstrong Tungsten Ti Irons are the most technically advanced product that MD Golf have ever produced and is protected under patent #6120551. They feature a lightweight Ti face to make the rest of the club heavier, thus allowing weight to be placed around the extreme perimeter of the club head.

In irons #3, #4, & #5 a tungsten cartridge is placed low and deep in the club head to optimise launch angle. Meanwhile, #6, #7, and #8 irons replace the tungsten weight with a slightly lighter oil bag, which slightly raises the centre of gravity (COG), providing the optimum launch angle. Finally, the #9 and PW are fully cast out of stainless steel to provide the optimum weight ratio on shorter shots.

The patent surrounds the ''ID (Impact Damper) Technology'' which absorbs the impact from the face while striking the golf ball. Existing weight plugs in the golf market are mostly made of tungsten alloy and have limited damping effect. MD Golf's ID Technology both reduces the COG and maximises absorption of impact when striking the ball. This will produce a soft feel, but will not sacrifice distance due to the Hi COR titanium face.
