New for 2008, the Cobra S9 2008 Irons (Graphite);
Features Include:
Cavity backed head has been constructed from 431 Stainless Steel. Different materials have then been added into the design to give extra performance.
The top edge of the new S9 irons has been made from Polymer. This is lighter than the Steel and pushes more weight to the sole of the club for a lower centre of gravity to help get the ball in the air from any lie.
Urethene inserts are added into the back of the cavity and sole. This dampens vibration to improve feel.
Urethane sole insert and back cavity plate promote softer feel.
Using the multi-material design has also given the new S9 irons a higher Moment of Inertia (MOI) to give the club head a greater resistance to twisting on off centre strikes.
Shaft: Fitted with Cobra/Graphite Design YS graphite shafts as standard for a high launch, greater control and better accuracy.
