How To Purchase Goods

We have made buying from pricebustergolf.co.uk as simple as possible.

Firstly, find your product. To do this either type a keyword in the search box (top left of the page), use the Brand and/or Type drop-down search boxes (again, top left of the page) or, simply browse the sections and subsections of our site. Alternatively view our Site Map, which will give you an overview of our entire site.

Secondly, add the product to your shopping basket (if the item has an option then select your choice from the drop-down box located below the product text). Each item for sale has an order button. When this button is pressed the item will be automatically added to your shopping basket (please note that if the date and time are incorrect on your PC your browser will not allow you add items to your basket). However, please make sure that where there is an option to choose from in the drop-down box that you highlight it prior to clicking the order button.

Generally speaking, if the option you require is listed you can safely assume that the item is in stock and ready for immediate despatch (all except PowaKaddy electric trolleys). Conversely, if a particular option does not appear this means that it is currently not in stock.

To view items in the shopping basket and amend them accordingly simply click on the 'Checkout' button in the top right-hand corner of the page. You can input how many of each item you would like, decide to continue shopping, remove an item from the basket, or check out and place your secure order. Please make sure that you have selected the relevant option for you order if applicable, eg. shoe size, club flex/loft, bag colour, etc.

When you are happy with your selections press the 'Checkout' button. It is at this time you will be asked for your name and address and then your card details. We check and verify all credit card billing addresses so please make sure that you enter your details correctly. If your details do not match you will be asked to re-order making sure that you enter the correct details in the 'Card Billing Address' field. Remember, these measures enable us to confirm that the card is in your possession and is not being used fraudulently. Within the order processing page your personal information will be stored in a 'cookie' on your computer. This simply assists you when checking out (see below).

Please note that we do not accept BFPO orders or offer a part-exchange or trade-in service.

Cookies

Cookies are simply used to track movements and purchases whilst you are shopping, so that the shopping basket has a way of telling what items you require. The shopping basket will not function if you set your browser to reject cookies.

Within the secure ordering form, you can opt to have the personal details to be 'remembered' to speed up future purchasing. This involves the placement of a further cookie on your computer. To update these details during any further purchases you must simply change the information as appropriate within the secure order form and check the update details box. The cookie previously placed on your machine will then be updated.

We do not include any personal information in the cookies or store any such information on our system, in order to protect your privacy. Read More Here...

Important things to check before you complete your order

Before you click the 'Process Order' button to complete your transaction (after you have entered your Address details, Delivery instructions, and Credit Card information within the secure checkout), please check:

Section 1. Basket:
  • That all the items AND options you have ordered are correct. Also check if any applicable delivery charge has been added.

    Section 2. Addresses:
  • That your credit card billing and delivery addresses and postcodes are correct.
  • That you have supplied at least one daytime telephone contact number so that we or the courier can contact you if there is a problem with your order/delivery. Your telephone number WILL NOT be added to any list or used for ANY marketing purposes whatsoever!
  • That your e-mail address is correct. If it isn't then you will not receive an order confirmation or further parcel tracking details. Your e-mail address WILL NOT be automatically added to our mailing list or used for ANY other purpose.

    Section 3. Delivery:
  • That you have entered any special delivery instructions for your delivery in the box provided directly under 'Delivery Method'. Remember, you can also write any other message for us in this box, eg. custom fit measurements, etc; and,

    Section 4. Credit Card:
  • That you have entered your card details correctly. Remember that you only need to enter a start date and issue number if you are using a switch/solo card, and if your transaction fails then try entering all the card details APART from the issue number.

    What if I have problems ordering?

    Common reasons for problems when pressing the order button include: not having the correct date and time on your PC; not having cookies enabled in your browser; using an old browser that doesn't support SSL encryption; and, browsing from behind a corporate firewall that will not allow secure connections. To check, point your browser to https://www.microsoft.com/. If you cannot connect to the Microsoft secure server it is likely that one of the above faults apply. If you are browsing from behind a corporate firewall, speak to the system administrator at your office. They will either rectify the problem or you will advise you to order from another location.

    Acknowledgement of Orders

    Once you have placed an order, you will receive an e-mail confirming that the order is being processed. Please read it carefully to check that you have placed your order correctly. It is also advisable to print the final order confirmation page following the placement of your order, and make a note of your order number.

    If you do not receive an order confirmation then you may have provided an incorrect e-mail address at the time of order, or your anti-spam software on your PC may have blocked our e-mail. If this is the case then please contact us to confirm that your order has been successfully placed.

    Remember, if you do not see an order confirmation page with your Order Number on, or receive an order confirmation e-mail, or receive a tracking e-mail via our courier UPS, or receive your goods on the day expected, then you can safely assume that an order has not been successfully placed.     When is my credit card debited?

    Your card will normally be debited when your order has been processed and is ready to be shipped, although in certain limited circumstances (including PowaKaddy electric trolley orders, custom orders, or if you require you order to be delivered on a specific date in the future) it will debited once the order has been processed.

    When you place an order with pricebustergolf.co.uk we simply gain an authorisation from your card issuer. No monies are taken directly from your card! This authorisation simply guarantees that the funds are available on your card and that payment will be made to us.

    Please note, we hold large amounts of every product we sell and as official suppliers of all major brand name goods we are able to quickly replenish stocks. If for any reason we cannot supply you with any part of your order we will contact you to advise you of this. We can if necessary cancel an individual item from your order, or alternatively cancel your entire order if you so wish.

    What happens if my card authorisation fails?

    If the authorisation fails the page will refresh and display an error message at the top of the web page. Please read this message carefully as it will tell you why your transaction has failed.

    If this happens scroll back down to the card details section of the page and check that all the details are correct. Then click to try and place your order again. If your order is successfully placed the page will refresh with a note of your Order Number at the top of the page.

    The most likely explanation for card authorisation to fail is that you have inputed one or more of your card details (card type, card number, start/expiry date, CVV code (the last three digits on the reverse of the card - see HERE for details), etc incorrectly.

    Please note that if you are using a Visa Debit card you will only need to enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV code (please disregard any issue number stated on the card and leave that field blank).

    If all the details are correct and you still fail to get an authorisation then we advise that you contact your card issuer to establish why your card was not authorised. You may also try and proceed with the transaction using an alternative card. Please note that we are unable to process failed orders.
